With Christmas fast approaching (just two days away!), what better way to commemorate than sharing with our dear readers this cozy holiday wedding inspiration. It was a complete immersion in the intimate setting near the fireplace and the festive table setting. Be inspired and plan your dream holiday wedding. Good luck our dear brides-to-be!
This cozy winter wedding stylized shoot somehow came together seamlessly with an amazing group of professionals in just over two weeks! We are so pleased to showcase these vendors and looks.
The concept for our shoot was a “Cozy Holiday Wedding,” and we were hoping to capture a real look for real brides. We were inspired by the idea of a romantic, overcast day (which we were lucky enough to have on the day of our shoot), an elegant but comfortable manor venue, vintage accent pieces, homemade desserts, warm drinks and a classic, earthy color palette with hints of winter’s deep evergreens. We aimed to encompass the style and personality of a charming winter wedding. We shot at the stately W.K. Kellogg Manor (built in the 1920s) set against the clear, cool waters of Gull Lake in SW Michigan. Our model bride, Alison, wore her wedding gown by Allure, that exuded vintage, bohemian style with no fuss. She was joined by bridesmaid model Mallory, who wore a custom dress by locally-owned Bridal Originals.
