This isn’t a post I’ve been looking forward to writing, and admittedly, I’ve been putting it off for far too long. I’ve decided to put the Inspired Bride up for sale, and it hasn’t been an easy decision.
The reality on the ground is that I’m just not capable of juggling multiple projects any more. My body won’t let me, and in 7 to 10 more weeks, I’ll have a little girl who will be my number one priority so my time will be even more valuable. I made the tough decision to drop one of the blogs I’ve been working on and focus all my energy on it – and so from now on, Somewhere Splendid will be it. I’ve already started engaging potential web developers to make it an incredibly new and exciting experience that goes beyond just the blog, so I’m very much looking forward to all the possibilities it holds for me.
At the same time, this blog has been around for three years and for all that time, I believed in the content and the point of view it offered. It’s still very dear to me, and I’ve made a lot of great blogger buddies through it. I would love for the Inspired Bride to find its way into the hands of someone looking to get into the wedding blog community who believes in what I set out to do. I will open inquiries for a month (serious offers only, please), and hopefully I will find that perfect fit so the Inspired Bride can live on beyond my involvement with it.

This blog has always been one of my favourites so will be sad to see you let it go but I’m sure it’s the right decision for you and wish the best of luck with becoming a mum and moving forward with Somewhere Splendid.

After a busy couple of weeks I am finally back to reading all of the blogs I enjoy..only to find out this sad news! Well, it’s bittersweet really, because clearly you are about to being a new phase in your life and understandably, that is to become your primary focus. Your blog has been educational and totally inspiring. I will definitely be visiting Somewhere Splendid more often now and I look forward to the top secret wedding content to follow soon!!!
